Language Sketch

This may not be a tough question for some of you, but can you identitify the actors? If so leave a comment.

I swear to god the guy asking the question is Hugh Laurie but I can't be to sure. I would need to know how old this footage is.

Strange, it wouldn't let me post using my blogger id (celebhith) so I had to post anonymously. . .

The answers are correct! (I moderate comments, so that's why there's a duplication of answers.)

There's no prize, but let's all give a hearty cheer for Jeans Pants and anonymous!

If your only knowledge of Hugh Laurie is from House, it might be a surprise to see some of his earlier work.

Hugh Laurie is actually an English comic who had a t.v. show with Steven Fry (on English t.v.) for quite a while . . "A Bit of Fry & Laurie" I believe it was called. He can also be seen on the "Black Adder" episodes. Funny, sexy man!

It is indeed Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry in a sketch of their absurd but thoroughly funny show "A Bit of Fry & Laurie".

Other hilarious show featuring both these actors is Blackadder (I - IV): British black comedy at its best.

It is actually quite unsettling to hear Hugh Laurie speak with an American accent in House MD. But hey, he deserves the attention.

I am pleased with the response that this little video has received. I have seen all the episodes of "Blackadder" multiple times (The one about the dictionary is my favorite.), but have never even heard of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie". I live in the Midwestern United States so my access to British culture is pretty sporadic.

We're not done yet. There is an another opportunity for fame and recognition if you can name a different TV series that features these two characters.

Fantasticaly hilarious!

I met a gentleman staggeringly similar Stephen Fry's character in a pub in Hull last Wednesday evening. Even the mannerisms reminded me of him.

People with this much spare brain capacity really do exist!
